The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pie checks a leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Pie 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nuts misses with a straight left.
Nuts is looking to land body kicks.
Nuts thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nuts throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nuts thuds his shin into the meat of Pie's side.
Nuts swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pie with a lazy takedown attempt
and Nuts counters with a stiff right hand.
Pie closes the distance and clinches up with Nuts, looking for a takedown. Pie pushes Nuts against the cage but Nuts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nuts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Nuts misses the target.
Nuts thows a body shot but no joy.

Pie shoots and misses
letting Nuts counter with a right hand.

Pie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nuts.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nuts lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Nuts listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nuts is looking to chop away at Pie's legs.
Nuts rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nuts pinned against the cage. Nuts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pie shoots for a double leg takedown but Nuts sprawls well. He's pushed Pie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Nuts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Slap Nuts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Pie with that takedown attempt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pie. Nuts does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nuts misses with the combination.

Nuts leaves Pie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nuts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pie.
Nuts throws a head kick but Pie moves out of range.
Nuts tries a head kick but it misses.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nuts pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Nuts clinches up with Pie and pushes him back against the cage.
Nuts scores with a nice hook to the head.

Nuts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Pie moves out of range of the body kick from Nuts.
Pie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nuts as he avoids it easily.
Pie throws a head kick that misses.

Nuts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pie was well out of range. Poor timing from Nuts.

and Nuts connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nuts pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nuts attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
An inside leg kick from Nuts misses.
Pie avoids the body shot from Nuts.
Pie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nuts defends it nicely.

Pie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pie avoids the head kick by Nuts.
Nuts misses with a body shot.
A jab from Nuts finds it's way through Pie's defenses.

Pie slips a jab from Nuts.
Nuts throws a low kick but Pie moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pie.
No luck for Pie with that takedown attempt.
Pie looks for a takedown but Nuts sprawls well.

Pie sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pie throws a lazy right hand but Nuts sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nuts lands a really nice looking cross but Pie seems unphased.
Pie misses with the body kick
and Nuts counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Pie looking to score a takedown here. Nuts is defending well but Pie drives through and ends up in Nuts's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pie wants to control from the top but Nuts keeps moving.
Pie looking to pass the guard.

Slap Nuts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Nuts scores with a decent looking hook.
Nuts tries a head kick but it misses.
Pie blocks a head kick by Nuts.
Pie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nuts stuffs the takedown attempt from Pie. Pie gets slowly back to his feet.

Nuts throws a push kick but Pie slaps the foot to one side.
Pie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nuts counters with a stiff right hand.
Some bone on bone action there as Pie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
No joy there for Nuts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nuts lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Nuts takes a swing at Pie's ribcage but misses.
Pie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Pie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pie defending well as Nuts loads up on a big left hand.

Nuts darts in and clinches Pie up against the cage.
Nuts lands a knee to the body.
Nuts lands an elbow that stopped Pie in his tracks for a moment.
Nuts misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pie.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Nuts.
Pie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nuts pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nuts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Slap Nuts is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Nuts tries a knee to the head but Pie blocks it.

Nuts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nuts but Nuts pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cream Pie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nuts shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Pie fails with the takedown
and Nuts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Slap Nuts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Nuts winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Slap Nuts was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
