Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Bryson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Inclan!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Inclan.

Bryson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bryson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bryson performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Bryson wants to pass the guard but Inclan is defending well.
Bryson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bryson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Inclan on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jay Bryson just wasn't active enough.
Inclan looks for a takedown but Bryson sprawls well.

Bryson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Inclan stacks Bryson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Inclan!
Inclan sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bryson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

You can see the frustration on Bryson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Inclan tries to advance to mount but Bryson denies him.
Bryson wants to control but Inclan postures up.
Inclan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bryson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Inclan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bryson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bryson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Inclan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Inclan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bryson looks a forlorn figure.
Inclan prevents Bryson from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Inclan manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bryson to take his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jay Bryson will probably get the nod.

Inclan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bryson.

Inclan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Inclan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bryson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Inclan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bryson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Bryson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bryson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Inclan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bryson pinned against the cage. Bryson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Inclan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bryson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Inclan is looking to clinch but Bryson is avoiding it.
Bryson shoots in looking for a takedown. Inclan tries to sprawl out of it but Bryson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Inclan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Inclan dives in and grabs Bryson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bryson pushes down on Inclan's head and hops out.
Inclan keeps the fight on the outside.

Bryson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bryson tries to clinch there but Inclan circles away.
Inclan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Inclan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bryson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Inclan after a bit of a struggle.

Inclan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A close second round but Rafael Inclan will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Bryson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bryson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Inclan sprawls well. Inclan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bryson gets slowly back to his feet.

Bryson dodges an elbow strike from Inclan.
Inclan fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bryson.

Bryson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bryson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Inclan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Inclan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Inclan tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Rafael Inclan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bryson tries to kick Inclan off in order to stand up. Inclan Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inclan misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Inclan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sloppy strikes there by Inclan.
Bryson tries to buck Inclan off but Inclan is having none of it.

Inclan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bryson is looking to escape.

Bryson is looking to improve his position but Inclan isn't that keen on the idea.
Inclan moves to take his opponent's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inclan not allowing Bryson to control his hands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bryson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Inclan struggling to land strikes to the head as Bryson covers up.
Bryson has hold of Inclan's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.
Bryson rolls, trying to escape but Inclan keeps control of the position.

I would just about give that final round to Rafael Inclan.
I think Inclan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
