Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Moxson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Shimabukuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moxson comes to the cage accompanied by Zombie by Cranberries. Shimabukuro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Warrior. Masaru Shimabukuro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimabukuro takes a swing at Moxson's ribcage but misses.
Shimabukuro throws a right hand that Moxson ducks under and follows up with a left that Moxson also avoids with ease.

Moxson wants to pass to mount but Shimabukuro is defending the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shimabukuro felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
