Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 34 - 3, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dakker Kane!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane scores with a hook to the body. Coleman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Coleman drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Coleman is working Kane over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Coleman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Kane pulls Coleman in close to his closed guard and prevents Coleman from doing any damage or advancing position.

Kane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleman wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
Coleman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kane works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Coleman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Our spies down at at Xtreme Punishment inform us that Kane has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Coleman misses with an uppercut

and Kane counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Coleman is adopting a defensive guard.
Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Coleman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Coleman is trying to control the position but Kane postures up.

Coleman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kane's guard.
Kane is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Coleman is looking to work some ground and pound but Kane has wrist control.
Coleman is in close to Kane's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Kane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Coleman is aware though and is defending well.
Kane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kane utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Coleman wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
Coleman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kane blocking the ground and pound attempt from Coleman.
Kane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kane is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Coleman throwing shots but Kane is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Dakker Kane has been cut.
Coleman misses with a straight left.
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Coleman finish him?
Kane throws a low kick but it's checked well by Coleman.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Kane is on queer street and Coleman is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Mark Coleman!
