The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metaxa lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Jose Dantas has been cut.
Dantas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Metaxa circles away.
We've been told by Metaxa's head coaches at Allstars MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Metaxa moves out of range of the body kick from Dantas.
Metaxa scores with a jab. Dantas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dantas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Metaxa counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Dantas! He's just covering up as Metaxa starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
