Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes shoots in for a double leg but Butler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Moraes forces Butler back against the cage and clinches.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Moraes.
Butler lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Moraes keeps control of Butler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Moraes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Butler jumps guard but Moraes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Butler goes for a takedown in the clinch but Moraes prevents it.
Moraes lands an elbow just above Butler 's eye.
Butler jumps guard but Moraes stands there with Butler around his waist. Butler gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

I was talking to Moraes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Moraes lands an elbow just above Butler 's eye.
Moraes comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Moraes lands a knee to the head.
Butler looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moraes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Will Butler has been cut.

Butler is trying to drag Moraes to the mat but Moraes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Moraes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Butler's efforts to push away.
Moraes comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Clinched against the cage, Moraes lands a big elbow that drops Butler! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Butler is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
