Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khali Kumtomanee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marijo Palavra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumtomanee comes to the cage accompanied by Allah Allah Praise be Allah. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumtomanee avoids the head kick by Palavra.
An inside leg kick lands from Kumtomanee.
Kumtomanee pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Palavra fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kumtomanee avoids it really well and circles away.
Kumtomanee lands with a cross.
Palavra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kumtomanee throws out the jab.

and Palavra counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kumtomanee's guard now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Palavra gets back to half guard.
Palavra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kumtomanee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kumtomanee's back!

Palavra is striking well from the back but Kumtomanee escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
