Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanford Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iwan Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mays shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense.

Mays gets tackled into the cage by Morgan. Morgan maintains the clinch.

Mays is fighting off a takedown attempt but Morgan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mays to the mat. Mays regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Iwan Morgan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Morgan throws a push kick but Mays slaps the foot to one side.
Mays goes for a double leg but Morgan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morgan continues to drive forward.

Morgan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
