The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs throws a wild body kick that Cook sees coming a mile off.
Burroughs shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cook gets back to full guard.
Burroughs wants to pass the guard but Cook is keeping the position.
Burroughs postures up.
Burroughs won't allow Cook to sweep him here.
Burroughs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cook's head.

Cook is looking to stand up but Burroughs isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burroughs not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Burroughs prevents Cook from getting back to his feet.

Cook throws a right and a left that both miss.
Burroughs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cook's guard.

Cook really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cook wants to control but Burroughs passes easily into half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jordan Burroughs wasn't active enough on the ground.
Burroughs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cook looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cook is rocked!
