The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGirt scores with a punch to the head.
Boehm misses with a two punch combination.
McGirt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Tomoya Boehm has been cut.
McGirt lands a head shot.
Boehm shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGirt defends it nicely.
Boehm cracks McGirt with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boehm tries to pull guard but McGirt won't allow it.

Our spies down at at Pitbull MMA inform us that McGirt has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Boehm looks for the body kick but McGirt saw that one coming.
Boehm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McGirt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boehm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGirt.
McGirt closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Boehm! McGirt dives in looking to finish! Boehm is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
