Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Handly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satan comes into the arena with Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor blaring out of the sound system. Handly comes into a darkened arena with his song building. You Dropped a bomb on me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Charles Handly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Decent striking displayed by Handly there.
Handly moves out of range of the leg kick from Satan.
Satan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Handly shoots in for a takedown but Satan shows good takedown defense.
Satan connects with a leg kick. Handly looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Handly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Satan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Satan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Handly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Satan is working hard here to advance position.
Handly looking to hit a scissor sweep but Satan is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Satan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Satan lands in his opponent's guard.
Handly is looking to sweep but instead, Satan has passed into half guard.

Satan seems to be working for a kimura but Handly defends the submission attempt.
Satan wants to take a breather but Handly is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Satan lands a nice short elbow.
Satan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Satan is trying to ground and pound but Handly uses the momentary lack of control by Satan to regain half guard.
Handly makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Handly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Satan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Handly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Satan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Handly knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Satan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Handly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Satan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Satan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Satan keeps the fight on the outside.
Satan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Satan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Handly tries to avoid it but Satan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Handly to the ground. Handly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Handly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Satan tries to work over Handly's front leg with a kick but Handly checks it.
Handly misses with a wild combination.
Handly throws a lazy head kick
and Satan counters with a big head kick but Handly shrugs it off.
Handly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Satan circles away quickly and effectively.
Handly looks to land a combination but Satan avoids it well.
Handly will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Satan counters with a shoot takedown. Handly fights it but they end up in guard.

Handly wants to stand but Satan is controlling the position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Satan forces his way into half guard.
Handly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Satan is working away from the top position though.
Handly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Satan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Handly is squirming around, avoiding Satan's attempts to control the action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Handly stands up over Satan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Damien Satan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Satan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Handly postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Handly is in close to Satan's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Satan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Handly's guard.
Satan passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Handly felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Handly tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Satan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Satan advances to mount.
Handly is desperately trying to improve his position but Satan has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Satan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Satan is working for a guillotine from mount but Handly frees his head quite easily.
Satan working the ground and pound effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damien Satan dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Handly has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Satan finds it's way round the side to connect with Handly's head.
Charles Handly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Satan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Handly.
Handly throws a sloppy head kick and Satan moves out of range easily.
Satan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Handly counters with a good low kick that Satan was not able to check.
Handly shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Satan defends it nicely.

Handly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Satan to the mat! Satan manages to get full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Satan is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Damien Satan.
Well Satan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
