Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teemu Salonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salonen moves into the clinch successfully.
Bond wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Salonen breaks from the clinch.
Bond shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bond closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bond tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Salonen tries to escape but Bond is in control.

Salonen is trying to buck Bond off.

Bond is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Salonen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bond is trying to break the clinch but Salonen has him pressed against the cage.

Salonen scores with a nice right hand.

and Bond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Salonen throws a lazy head kick
and Bond counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Salonen is breathing heavily.

Salonen rushes Bond and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Salonen prevents Bond from breaking the clinch.
Salonen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bond manages to break the clinch.
Bond dodges the punch combination from Salonen.
Bond tries to score a power double leg takedown but Salonen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bond somewhat.
Salonen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Teemu Salonen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Salonen tries a head kick but it misses.

Bond tries to close the distance and clinch but Salonen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bond fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Salonen sprawls well initially but Bond persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bond seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Salonen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
