Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anton Kuivanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Gavilan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kuivanen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West - POWER . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Gavilan.
Gavilan fails to land with a series of punches.
Kuivanen gets the takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kuivanen decides to stand back up.
Gavilan misses with a leg kick.
Kuivanen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gavilan lands a nice looking body shot.
Kuivanen moves in looking to clinch but Gavilan pushes him off.
Gavilan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gavilan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gavilan feints a jab promting Kuivanen to slip. Gavilan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kuivanen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Anton Kuivanen has been cut.
Kuivanen walks into a straight right hand from Gavilan.
Gavilan lands with a cross.
Gavilan steps in with a hook that catches Kuivanen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gavilan follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Kuivanen looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kid Gavilan!
Kid Gavilan is the new lightweight champion!
