Rugowski misses with an uppercut.

Okiro throws the kick towards the body but Rugowski avoids it.
Rugowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rugowski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Okiro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Okiro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Okiro throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rugowski on the side of the head.

Okiro throws a push kick but Rugowski slaps the foot to one side.
Rugowski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

I was talking to Rugowski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Still in the clinch, Rugowski scores with a nice short uppercut.
Okiro is looking to control Rugowski's arms but Rugowski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Okiro has his back to the cage.
Rugowski blocks an uppercut.
Rugowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Okiro trying to stall but Rugowski improves his position.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Okiro.
Rugowski misses with a hook to the ribs.
Okiro lands with a right to the head.

Okiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rugowski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Okiro dips to his left and cracks Rugowski with an uppercut!
Okiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Rugowski uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Lyon Okiro has been cut.
Rugowski takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Rugowski lands a nice shot that snaps Okiro's head back.

Lyon Okiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okiro digs a good hook to Rugowski's body.
Okiro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rugowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Rugowski counters with a straight right hand.
Okiro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rugowski.
Okiro rushes Rugowski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rugowski breaks the clinch.
Rugowski cracks Okiro with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rugowski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Okiro to stand back up!
Okiro is rocked!

Rugowski moves in close and cracks Okiro with a massive right hand! Okiro, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Rugowski!
