Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Kultane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heraclio Caro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jorma Kultane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Heraclio Caro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kultane has Caro up against the cage in a clinch.

Kultane jumps into guard, dragging Caro to the mat.

Kultane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Caro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kultane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Caro is aware though and is defending well.
Caro tries to stand but Kultane is controlling from the bottom.
Kultane looking for a sweep. Not yet Kultane, not yet.
Caro trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kultane's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kultane is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Caro wants to stand but Kultane has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kultane looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Caro has picked Kultane up and slammed him! Kultane can't keep hold of the triangle and Caro manages to pass to side control!
Caro wants to stand but Kultane is controlling his arm.

Caro has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Kultane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kultane moves into the clinch.

Kultane gets control of Caro's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kultane will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Caro tries to stand but Kultane is controlling from the bottom.

Caro wants to stand and escape but instead Kultane has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kultane connects with a couple of short punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Caro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kultane defends it easily.
Caro keeping moving, preventing Kultane from controlling successfully.
Kultane postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Caro has momentary wrist control but Kultane slips an elbow through the middle.

Caro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kultane wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kultane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Caro is looking to regain half guard here but Kultane keeps moving and retains side control.

Kultane works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Caro on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Caro wants to control but Kultane postures up.
Kultane tries to advance to mount but can't.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kultane has hold of Caro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Caro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kultane cranks the arm and Caro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Caro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
