Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jobe Nkemakolam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan drops his hands momentarily and Nkemakolam takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nkemakolam avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Khan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nkemakolam swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Nkemakolam closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nkemakolam. That's going to slow Khan down.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big left from Nkemakolam misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nkemakolam has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nkemakolam and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Khan is looking to control Nkemakolam's arms but Nkemakolam gets an underhook and turns him. Now Khan has his back to the cage.

Khan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Khan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jobe Nkemakolam is winning the standup battle so far.
Nkemakolam punishes Khan's body with a nice straight punch.
Nkemakolam fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it.
Nkemakolam takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nkemakolam throws a leg kick that is checked
and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Nkemakolam counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jobe Nkemakolam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jobe Nkemakolam just wasn't active enough.

Khan cracks Nkemakolam with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Khan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nkemakolam to stand back up!

Genghis Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nkemakolam glances at the clock... BAM! Khan nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Nkemakolam crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Nkemakolam is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Genghis Khan!
