The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gherobane throws a looping overhand right but Cartwright ducks down to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Gherobane. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gherobane.
Gherobane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cartwright.
A big right from Gherobane misses.
Sloppy strikes from Gherobane. Those never looked like landing.

Cartwright closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cartwright lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
