Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Hinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Kusanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyo Kusanagi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marvin Hinton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyo Kusanagi!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Hemmingworth and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusanagi stuffs the takedown attempt from Hinton. Hinton gets slowly back to his feet.
Kusanagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

An inside leg kick lands from Kusanagi.
Hinton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kusanagi is fending him off so far but Hinton persists. Nope, Kusanagi circles away and we're back to standing.
Kusanagi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kusanagi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Marvin Hinton has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kusanagi throws a head kick but Hinton moves out of range.
Hinton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kusanagi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hinton somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marvin Hinton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hinton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hinton blocks a head kick by Kusanagi.
Kusanagi knocks Hinton to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Hinton is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hinton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kusanagi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oh Hinton is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kusanagi tries to stand but Hinton is controlling his head.
Kusanagi looks winded!
Hinton tries to improve position but can't.
Kusanagi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Hinton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hinton tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hinton gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hinton seems to have got his legs back now.
Kusanagi wants to get back to his feet.
Hinton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hinton makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hinton.
Hinton tries to strike from the bottom.
Hinton is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kusanagi frees his head nicely. Oh but Hinton has switched to an armbar! Kusanagi is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
