Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Scrape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wyatt Jarvis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Scrape!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvis blocks a head kick by Scrape.
Scrape lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Scrape tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Scrape looks winded!
Jarvis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jarvis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scrape circles away quickly and effectively.
Scrape scores with a head kick.
Scrape tries a head kick but it misses.

Jarvis feints and as Scrape raises his hands in defense, Jarvis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jarvis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wyatt Jarvis.
Scrape waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jarvis.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jarvis blocks a head kick by Scrape.

Jarvis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Scrape on his heels. He'll look to pass Scrape's guard now, I'm sure.
Jarvis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jarvis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jarvis distracts Scrape with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jarvis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Wyatt Jarvis just wasn't active enough.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jarvis.
Jarvis happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Wyatt Jarvis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Nice body kick there by Scrape.

Jarvis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scrape was covering up waiting for the punch and Jarvis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Scrape misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Scrape enables Jarvis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Scrape manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jarvis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jarvis is stalling in the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wyatt Jarvis dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Scrape misses with a head kick.
Scrape tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Scrape throws a series of punches but Jarvis avoids them all with ease.
Jarvis blocks a head kick by Scrape.
Scrape throws a half hearted mid kick.

Jarvis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Scrape quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Scrape looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Scrape is breathing heavily.

Wyatt Jarvis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Jarvis takes the fight into the clinch.

Jarvis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Scrape misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Scrape tries to sprawl but Jarvis drives through with a takedown into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jarvis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wyatt Jarvis.

Jarvis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Scrape seems a little lost for a moment, as Jarvis dominates the positioning.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Jarvis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jarvis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jarvis is trying to pull guard but Scrape turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Jarvis jumps guard but Scrape stands there with Jarvis around his waist. Jarvis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wyatt Jarvis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scrape wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Scrape takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wyatt Jarvis.
Scrape throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Scrape misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jarvis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Scrape can do to turn this around?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Jarvis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Scrape manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jarvis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Scrape knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jarvis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
