Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris JorJovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Queen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fat Joe - Money Over Bitches [Feat Too $hort & TA]. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oliver Queen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris JorJovsky!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queen blocks the body kick.
JorJovsky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Queen swings and misses with a shot to the body

and JorJovsky counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
JorJovsky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Queen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
JorJovsky throwing strikes but missing.
JorJovsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Queen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
JorJovsky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
JorJovsky looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
JorJovsky trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

JorJovsky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Queen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
JorJovsky preventing the sweep.
JorJovsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Queen is keeping the position for now.
Queen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Queen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
JorJovsky gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Queen.
JorJovsky shoots for a takedown but Queen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Queen looks to land a body kick but JorJovsky moved away.
Queen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed JorJovsky momentarily.

JorJovsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Queen defends it nicely.
Queen scores with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Queen leaves JorJovsky with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oliver Queen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris JorJovsky.
Queen lands a nice hook to JorJovsky's body. JorJovsky takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Queen scores with a jab to the body.
Queen throws a leg kick but JorJovsky moved away.
JorJovsky uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Queen.
JorJovsky fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from JorJovsky is defended easily by Queen.
JorJovsky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Queen manages to avoid it.

JorJovsky shoots in and gets a takedown into Queen's guard.

Queen managing to control the position.

JorJovsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Queen keeping moving, preventing JorJovsky from controlling successfully.
JorJovsky is looking to work some ground and pound but Queen has wrist control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
JorJovsky pushes down on Queen's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Queen tries to roll over but JorJovsky keeps him under control.

JorJovsky is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
JorJovsky wants to take a breather but Queen is having none of it.
Queen keeping control of the position.

JorJovsky is trying to work for a kimura but Queen is defending well.
Queen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
JorJovsky throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Queen is trying to maintain the position but JorJovsky is very close to passing his half guard.

JorJovsky looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boris JorJovsky dominated that round.
That's time! Queen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Queen missing with a left hand there. JorJovsky was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Queen connects with a high kick.
Queen connects with an inside leg kick.
Queen getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

JorJovsky shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Queen is trying to defend but JorJovsky finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with JorJovsky in particular looking to stall.
Queen trying to hold on to JorJovsky's head to control him but JorJovsky postures up.

JorJovsky is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Queen defends it well.

JorJovsky is keen to just control but Queen is a slippery customer.

JorJovsky is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Queen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Queen.

Queen pulls JorJovsky in close to his closed guard and prevents JorJovsky from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

JorJovsky fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Queen to the ground. JorJovsky is now in Queen's guard.
Queen looking for a sweep. Not yet Queen, not yet.
JorJovsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Queen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
JorJovsky is stalling in the full guard.

JorJovsky stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Queen throws up his legs and catches JorJovsky in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! JorJovsky tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Queen! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Oliver Queen!
