The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko tries to land a front kick but Sauna steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Sauna gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Marko to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Marko content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Marko throws a strike but Sauna rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sauna lands a nice short elbow.

Sauna is trying to control. Marko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Marko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Marko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sauna's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sauna's back!
Sauna is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Marko 's hooks.
Sauna tries to reverse the position but Marko maintains control.

Marko cracks Sauna with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Flint Marko!
After the fight, Flint Marko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
