Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Obrien.
Obrien tries for a kimura but Roberts is defending well.
Roberts pushes Obrien away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Obrien gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Roberts tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Obrien tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Roberts's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Obrien breaks from Roberts's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Obrien in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Obrien has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Obrien lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Roberts is trying to stand up.
Obrien takes Roberts's back.
Roberts looks winded!
Obrien lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Obrien controlling the positon.
Obrien softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Roberts looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Obrien slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Obrien is landing with strikes from the back.
