The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devito fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Diesel lands a nice looking body kick.
Diesel throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Diesel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Devito with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diesel to score with a decent uppercut.

Devito moves forwards but Diesel connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Devito closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diesel's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Devito looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Devito is working to tighten his grip on Diesel's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Diesel has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Devito is really squeezing tight and eventually Diesel passes out! Devito breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
