Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Burrows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tui Ti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burrows comes into the arena with My Herione blaring out of the sound system. Tui Ti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ti lands a really nice looking cross but Burrows seems unphased.

It looks like Tyler Burrows has been cut.
Ti misses with a hook

and Burrows counters by moving into the clinch.

Ti tries to break free but Burrows pushes him back against the cage.

Burrows is working for takedown but Ti is calmly controlling the position for now.

Burrows misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ti.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Ti wants to get back to striking at distance but Burrows won't allow it.

Ti is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Tui Ti.

Ti keeps the fight on the outside.
Burrows tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ti swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ti scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Burrows throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ti's waist but Ti gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burrows off to one side.
Burrows looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Burrows. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ti throws a good cross that connects.
Burrows shoots in for a double leg but Ti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ti misses with a looping left.
Ti displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burrows.

Burrows instigates a clinch.
Ti is trying to break the clinch but Burrows has him pressed against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Burrows - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Burrows pulls guard successfully.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ti trying to control but Burrows is working from the bottom.
Burrows is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Burrows is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Burrows looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ti wants to control but Burrows is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tui Ti will probably get the nod.

Burrows pushes Ti up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Burrows - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Burrows fails to pull guard.
Burrows using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ti has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ti wants to stall.
Ti is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.

Burrows manages to break the clinch.
Ti throws a lazy right hand but Burrows sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Burrows shoots in looking for a takedown but Ti manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Burrows's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ti.
The fighters circling - Ti throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Burrows throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Burrows displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ti throws out the jab.
Burrows throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ti throws a hook but Burrows avoids it easily.

Ti connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Burrows's hands.
Burrows walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ti throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A left lands for Ti.

Burrows is rocked!
Ti looks to land a right hand but Burrows moved out of range.
Ti throws out a loose jab but Burrows uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burrows fails with a takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burrows ducks under a wild hook from Ti.
Tui Ti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Burrows takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
