PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between One Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Down Low (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Low's choice of entrance music: Bring The Pain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dude lands a jab-cross combination.

Low feints and as Dude raises his hands in defense, Low changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dude sizes up Low with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dude does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Low takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
No joy there for Dude, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dude is breathing heavily.
Dude misses with an uppercut. Low saw that one coming.
Dude throws a hook but Low avoids it easily.
Low shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dude as he jumps to the side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Low pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Low changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dude looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Low swings around for an armbar but Dude sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Low's guard.

Low had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dude is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Low Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dude's back instead.
