Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jeremy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in StepChild's half guard.

StepChild looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
StepChild wants to improve his position but Jeremy is controlling well.

StepChild tries to roll over but Jeremy keeps him under control.

StepChild manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

StepChild's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jeremy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
StepChild is controlling Jeremy's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jeremy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and StepChild defends it well.
StepChild looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Jeremy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can StepChild defend it? Jeremy steps over the head and cranks it - StepChild is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jeremy!
