Razin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Oy Da Ne Vecher. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stepan Razin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timi Kahuna!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razin throws a series of strikes that have Kahuna backpedaling.
Razin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Razin jabs Kahuna right on the nose. Kahuna blinks but takes it well.
Razin lands with a nice body punch.
Razin tests Kahuna's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Razin looks to land a combination. Kahuna sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kahuna on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Razin scores with a nice head shot.
Razin lands a slapping body shot.
A nice combination there by Razin.


It looks like Timi Kahuna has been cut.
Stepan Razin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kahuna's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Razin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kahuna scrambles back to his feet.
Kahuna takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kahuna has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Razin lands a jab to Kahuna's midsection.
Kahuna looks winded!
Razin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Razin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kahuna tries to move into range but Razin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Razin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Razin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kahuna takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Razin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Razin cracks Kahuna with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Razin digs a good body shot into Kahuna's ribs.
Nice uppercut there from Razin.
Razin digs a good hook to Kahuna's body.
Razin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Razin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Razin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kahuna on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A lazy left from Razin finds it's target.
Razin scores with a jab. Kahuna acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kahuna gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Razin.

Razin drops Kahuna with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kahuna looks back up at him and smiles so Razin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Kahuna is rocked!
Razin misses with a wild combination.
Razin is working the combinations to good effect here.
Razin stuns Kahuna with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kahuna takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Razin batters Kahuna with a massive right followed by a huge left! Kahuna is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Razin lands a final crushing right hand to drop Kahuna to the mat with a gruesome thud! Razin is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Stepan Razin!
During a confident post fight interview, Stepan Razin thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
