The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khachatryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Khachatryan misses with a double jab
and Farring counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Khachatryan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Farring sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Khachatryan somewhat.
Khachatryan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Khachatryan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Khachatryan throws a lazy right hand but Farring sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Khachatryan wants to clinch up but Farring keeps it at a distance.
Khachatryan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Farring on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Farring has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Farring uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Khachatryan.
Khachatryan misses with an uppercut
enabling Farring to counter with a crisp jab.
