Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johny Danger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Risto Raivo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Danger both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Risto Raivo has been cut.
Danger takes the fight into the clinch.
Raivo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Danger.
Raivo with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Danger blocks an elbow strike from Raivo.

Danger jumps guard but Raivo stands there with Danger around his waist. Danger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Danger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Danger postures up.
Raivo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Danger's guard.
Danger is trying to control the position but Raivo postures up.
Raivo stands and steps away. Danger gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Danger shoots in and drives through. Raivo sprawls well.
Danger shoots for a takedown but Raivo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Danger is breathing heavily.

Danger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Danger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Raivo closes the distance but Danger moves to the side
and Danger counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Danger.

Danger takes an elbow to the temple.
Danger pulls Raivo into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Raivo stands and steps away. Danger gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Danger throws a series of punches but Raivo moves out of range.
Danger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raivo as he jumps to the side.
Danger fails in his attempt to clinch.
No luck for Danger with that takedown attempt.
Raivo drives through and clinches with Danger against the cage.
Raivo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Danger.

That was a close round but I would say that Johny Danger will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Danger counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Raivo!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danger is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Raivo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Raivo tries to lock up and control but Danger gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Danger pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Raivo regains half guard.
Danger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Danger uses his free foot to push down on Raivo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Raivo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Raivo really wants to buck Danger off and get back to his feet.

Danger landing strikes from the mount and Raivo is in trouble!
Raivo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Danger controlling his opponent.
Danger looking to secure an arm triangle but Raivo defends it well.
Raivo wants to control but Danger is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Raivo is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Danger is staying active.

Danger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Danger seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Raivo for as long as he can get away with.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Johny Danger just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Danger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Danger, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
