The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away.
Samson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.
Samson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Long Haired Samson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jab, jab by Samson - just one landing.
Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Williams slips a straight right by Samson.

Williams lands a left and a right that send Samson crashing to the mat, dazed. Williams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Long Haired Samson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Samson.
Williams leaves Samson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Williams drops Samson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Samson looks back up at him and smiles so Williams waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Crack! A monster head kick from Williams and Samson falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Williams!
