Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Monadel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Monadel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Delgado!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monadel fails to land with a series of punches.
Delgado closes this distance looking for a takedown but Monadel circles away.

Delgado lands a left and a right that send Monadel crashing to the mat, dazed. Delgado thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Nick Monadel has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Delgado decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Delgado tries to pass to full mount but Monadel defends it.
Monadel tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Delgado is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Delgado is nestled in close to Monadel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Monadel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Delgado's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Delgado's back!
Monadel could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Monadel walks into a straight right hand from Delgado.
Monadel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Delgado tries for a takedown but Monadel manages to get underhooks.

Delgado wants the takedown. Monadel is fighting it off but Delgado persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Monadel's guard against the cage.

Monadel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Delgado defends well.

Monadel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Delgado is looking to escape.

Monadel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Delgado defends it well.
Delgado pushes Monadel off looking to stand but Monadel dives back in and keeps control.
Delgado is looking to get back to is feet but Monadel passes into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Delgado is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Monadel has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nick Monadel.
Delgado tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Monadel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Monadel shoots in for a takedown but Delgado shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Delgado connects with a nice looking jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Delgado looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Horrible takedown by Monadel or perhaps it was just good defense by Delgado which made him look bad.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Monadel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Delgado looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Monadel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Delgado is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Monadel has just dragged him back down to the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Delgado throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Monadel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Delgado is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Monadel is aware though and is defending well.
Monadel's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Monadel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Monadel winds up and cracks Delgado with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Monadel is pressed up against the cage. Delgado has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Monadel down to the mat. Monadel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Delgado misses with a few strikes there.
Delgado throws a head kick that misses.
Delgado shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Monadel as he avoids it easily.

Delgado escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Monadel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Monadel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nick Monadel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Delgado is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Monadel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nick Monadel.
Monadel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Delgado defends it nicely.
Monadel blocks a head kick by Delgado.
Monadel slips a jab and a cross from Delgado.
Delgado lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nick Monadel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shane Delgado is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Monadel tries to work over Delgado's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

I would just about give that final round to Shane Delgado.
I've got Delgado winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
