These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Makatua ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Van Delft will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Makatua tests Van Delft's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A nice leg kick lands there from Makatua.

Van Delft walks into a big right hand from Makatua and goes down! The referee sends Makatua to a neutral corner as Van Delft gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

That has opened up Klaas Van Delft's cut even more.
No joy there for Van Delft, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Van Delft walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Van Delft is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
