Beast's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sweet Child O'mine - Guns N' Roses. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Brown!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Beast counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like John Brown has been cut.
Brown shoots and misses
enabling Beast to counter with a crisp jab.
Wrestling Beast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Brown.

Brown scores with a takedown into Beast's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Brown throws a strike but Beast rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Beast is proving a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.

Brown felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Brown is looking to improve his position but Beast isn't that keen on the idea.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beast. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brown keeps trying to improve his position.
Brown tries to lock up and control but Beast gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brown wants to control but Beast is having none of it.

Beast won't let Brown get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Beast has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Beast lands with some strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beast is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Beast has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Beast connects with a bit shot that sees Brown covering up! More strikes from Beast and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Beast is our winner by TKO!

A relieved looking Wrestling Beast thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
