Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hagilur Taff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Barnett is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taff getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Taff sizes up Barnett with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Taff checks a low kick from Barnett.
Taff seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Barnett on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Taff throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Taff tries to clinch there but Barnett circles away.
Taff connects with a body shot.
Taff fails to land with a series of punches.
Taff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barnett as he jumps to the side.
Taff closes the distance looking to clinch
and Barnett counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Taff!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Barnett is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Taff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Barnett has hold of Taff's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Taff tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Barnett cranks the arm and Taff screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Taff, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Brock Barnett!
