The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Richards pinned against the cage. Richards gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Richards has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $300 fee) in the buildup to the fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Richards. That's going to slow Mills down.

Richards forces Mills back against the cage and clinches.
Mills takes an elbow to the forehead.
Richards lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Richards lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Richards gets through Mills's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Richards lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Richards crunches a lovely knee into Mills's ribcage.

Mills is trying to pull guard but Richards turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Richards digs a right hand into Mills's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mills's gas tank.
Richards works on Mills's body with a couple of short punches.

Richards unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Mills! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Richards is unloading with more strikes now! Mills drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
