A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davies accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Davies counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Davies.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davies stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. MacOwan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
MacOwan is looking to stand up but Davies isn't so interested in that idea.

Davies stands up over MacOwan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

MacOwan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davies connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! MacOwan scrambles back to his feet.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Davies.
Davies tries to score with a low kick but MacOwan moves his leg out of the way.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Davies pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces MacOwan back to the cage. Davies follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Davies looks to land a body kick but MacOwan moved away.
Davies rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but MacOwan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
