Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mose Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck BawHeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

BawHeed closes the distance and clinches.
Blake looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

BawHeed breaks the clinch.

BawHeed clinches up against the cage.
Blake fails to pull guard.
Blake holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Blake blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

BawHeed wants to control from the top but Blake keeps moving.

Mose Blake has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A head kick misses from BawHeed.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
BawHeed jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blake walks away with a smile on his face. BawHeed gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Blake fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mose Blake. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
BawHeed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blake circles away quickly and effectively.
BawHeed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blake but Blake pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Blake is looking to control BawHeed's arms but BawHeed gets an underhook and turns him. Now Blake has his back to the cage.
Blake is looking to break free of the clinch but BawHeed has double underhooks.

BawHeed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

BawHeed clinches up with Blake and pushes him back against the cage.

Blake manages to pull guard.

Blake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

BawHeed gets to his feet. Blake looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

BawHeed rushes Blake and presses him up against the cage.

BawHeed goes for a takedown attempt but Blake pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

BawHeed is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

BawHeed ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. BawHeed no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Blake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

You can see the frustration on BawHeed's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BawHeed manages to reverse the position and now he's in Blake's guard. Nice work there by BawHeed.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BawHeed wants to control from the top but Blake keeps moving.

Blake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

BawHeed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Blake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BawHeed tries to lock up and control but Blake gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
BawHeed tries to control the position but Blake now has his back.

Blake is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

BawHeed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
BawHeed throws a lazy right hand but Blake sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Blake has taken the fight to the clinch.

BawHeed throws his legs up looking for a submission but Blake uses it to pass to side control.

Blake is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt BawHeed will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Mose Blake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Blake goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, BawHeed rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Blake's guard! Nice work there by BawHeed!

Blake bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BawHeed's guard.
BawHeed wants to stand but Blake is controlling the position.

Blake is fighting to break BawHeed's control of his arms but BawHeed is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Blake drops back looking for a leg! BawHeed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and BawHeed manages to kick Blake off! Blake jumps back into BawHeed's guard.

You can see the frustration on BawHeed's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Blake is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Blake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

BawHeed manages to work his way to half guard, despite Blake's best efforts.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mose Blake.
I think BawHeed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
