PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanford Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doug Lancaster told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Mays could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lancaster thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice uppercut lands for Lancaster. That snapped Mays's head back.

Mays is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lancaster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mays changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lancaster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lancaster is stalling here. Mays is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lancaster seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mays has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
