Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Israel West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obeliks Imxatebov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Obeliks Imxatebov!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Imxatebov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
West shoots for a double leg takedown but Imxatebov sprawls well. He's pushed West's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
West dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Imxatebov. That did some damage!
West is trying hard to land a takedown here. Imxatebov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Imxatebov cracks West with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Imxatebov keeps the fight on the outside.
Imxatebov feints with a jab and clips West right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! West is sent crashing into the canvas and Imxatebov leaps in for the kill! West tries to get to his feet but Imxatebov is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that West is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Obeliks Imxatebov!
