Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ike Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LaF Earthempires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson forces Earthempires back against the cage and clinches.
Earthempires drops down looking for an ankle pick but Davidson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Earthempires shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davidson as he jumps to the side.
Earthempires closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Earthempires shoots in but no luck this time.
Ike Davidson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LaF Earthempires.

Davidson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Earthempires's waist but Earthempires gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davidson off to one side.

Earthempires has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Davidson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Earthempires.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ike Davidson.
