Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano Schoots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyes comes into the arena with Black and Yellow - Wiz Khalifa blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamie Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Romano Schoots!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schoots moves into the clinch.
Reyes misses with a knee strike.
Schoots tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Reyes avoids it.

Reyes breaks the clinch.
Reyes is looking to land body kicks.
Schoots shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reyes as he jumps to the side.
Schoots misses with a shot to the body
and Reyes counters with a body kick that stops Schoots in his tracks momentarily.

Reyes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Schoots, pushing him back against the cage.
Schoots tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Reyes avoids it.
Reyes tries to land a knee to the head but Schoots blocks with his arms.

Schoots throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Romano Schoots seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reyes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Schoots's head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jamie Reyes will probably get the nod.

Reyes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Schoots eats them both and turns towards Reyes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Schoots takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Reyes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schoots.
