Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dead Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mica comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the name by Fort Minor. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Mica!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dead Kennedy!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mica keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kennedy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mica.
Kennedy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mica drops Kennedy with a left and a right! Oh, Kennedy is hurt - Mica dives into side control looking to finish!

Kennedy is rocked!

It looks like Dead Kennedy has been cut.
Kennedy looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kennedy is looking to reverse the position.
Kennedy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Mica trying to control the action but Kennedy is working from the bottom.

Kennedy tries to roll over but Mica keeps him under control.
Kennedy wants to control but Mica is keeping busy.
Mica knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kennedy on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kennedy is not content to let Mica control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mica lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Mica dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kennedy. That did some damage!

Mica connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Kennedy to the floor! Mica dives in looking for the finish!

Mica wants to control but Kennedy is keeping him busy.
Mica prevents Kennedy from improving his position.
Mica wants to take a breather but Kennedy is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kennedy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kennedy gets back to full guard.

Kennedy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kennedy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mica circles away.
Kennedy is breathing heavily.

A head kick misses from Mica.
Mica throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kennedy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mica - the referee stops the clock and Kennedy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mica. Kennedy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Mica misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mica throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mica misses with a series of wild punches.
Mica pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kennedy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mica sprawls well initially but Kennedy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mica stuffs the takedown attempt from Kennedy. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet.
Mica throws and low kick but Kennedy moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kennedy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Mica plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kennedy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mica, right into the meat.

Mica throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kennedy.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
