Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jercules Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Adrian Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jercules Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lewis dives in and grabs Sanchez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes down on Lewis's head and hops out.
Sanchez feints and then cracks Lewis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lewis down.

Lewis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lewis lands in his opponent's guard.
Lewis stays in close to Sanchez's body and controls the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lewis is fighting to break Sanchez's control of his arms but Sanchez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jercules Sanchez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lewis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sanchez parries the strikes from Lewis easily there. Lewis is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sanchez to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lewis sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sanchez is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Adrian Lewis.

Lewis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sanchez defends well and Lewis ends up having to push Sanchez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Lewis has double underhooks.

Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sanchez throws a leg kick which misses Lewis's front leg but catches the back leg as Lewis tries to avoid it.
Sanchez scoring well with a low kick there.
Sanchez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sanchez cracks the inside of Lewis's front leg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Adrian Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez throws a chopping leg kick but Lewis manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Sanchez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Lewis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sanchez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lewis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jercules Sanchez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanchez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jercules Sanchez seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lewis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sanchez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jercules Sanchez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
