Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judd Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pritos Ring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Judd Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pritos Ring!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ring shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Brown wants to stand but Ring is controlling the position.
Brown lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ring accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ring makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ring working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ring trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ring is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.
Ring is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown keeping full guard, as Ring tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ring is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!

Brown trying to control but Ring is working from the bottom.
Ring working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown.
Ring avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Brown throwing strikes from guard but Ring blocks nicely.
Brown won't allow Ring to get back to his feet.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brown throws a strike but Ring rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Brown has control of Ring's left arm, preventing Ring from doing any damage.

Brown pushes Ring off and gets back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brown enables Ring to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brown manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ring has momentary wrist control but Brown slips an elbow through the middle.
Ring keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.

We've been informed that Ring has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Brown wants to control from the top but Ring keeps moving.
Brown wants to pass the guard but Ring is keeping the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Brown loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Brown working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Brown wants to control from the top but Ring keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pritos Ring will probably get the nod.

Ring throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brown has managed to clinch.
Ring tries to break free but Brown pushes him back against the cage.
Ring is trying to push Brown away but Brown has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Brown using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ring has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Brown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ring fails with a takedown attempt.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ring as he jumps to the side.
Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Ring sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ring throws the kick towards the body but Brown avoids it.
Ring fails to land with a series of punches.
Ring tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ring somewhat.
Ring is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Ring which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judd Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ring misses with a lunging right hand
and Brown counters with a straight right hand.
Brown fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ring shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Judd Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Ring's guard.

Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ring is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Brown dives into side control.

Ring is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brown has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Brown sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ring is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Brown misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ring is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brown asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Brown throws a strike aimed at the side of Ring's head but Ring avoids it well.

An elbow from Brown crashes against the mat.
Brown misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Brown throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ring takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Ring is not content to let Brown control the position.

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ring is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ring wants to get back to his feet but Brown drags him back down.
Ring managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brown.
Judd Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Brown throws a strike aimed at the side of Ring's head but Ring avoids it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ring works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ring darts in looking for a takedown but Brown gets double underhooks and turns Ring into the cage.
Ring has had enough of the clinch but Brown keeps him there for the moment.
Brown has Ring pressed against the cage, preventing Ring from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ring tries to stall but Brown uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Brown has his feet on Ring's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Brown stalks Ring and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ring's face. Ring staggers backwards, shaken.
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ring closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brown circles away.
Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judd Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ring shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Ring's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ring's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Ring counters with a head kick. That will keep Brown thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Ring gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ring creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Brown's defenses.
Brown lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ring looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Brown manages to break the clinch.
Ring dives in for a single leg takedown but Brown sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Brown avoids the elbow strike from Ring, against the cage.

Brown rushes Ring and presses him up against the cage.
Ring wants to break free but Brown has control.
Ring is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ring looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Ring persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Judd Brown.
I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
