The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Orlando Sax has been cut.

Sax darts in and clinches Slicer up against the cage.
Slicer lands a nice elbow.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Slicer.
Slicer tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Slicer prevents Sax from breaking the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Slicer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Slicer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sax is looking to break free of the clinch but Slicer has double underhooks.

Sax tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slicer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Sax slips a straight right by Slicer.
Slicer blocks a jab.
Slicer scores with a push kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Slicer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Slicer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slicer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Slicer moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Slicer throws a front kick that sends Sax stumbling back into the cage.

Slicer lands a big right hand that sends Sax crashing to the mat! Slicer stays standing though and waves Sax back to his feet!

Sax is rocked!
Slicer measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Sax! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

After the fight, Johny Slicer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
