Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Palmer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer scores with a nice right hand.
Palmer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dobson can pounce on him.
Palmer checks the leg kick.
Dobson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Palmer lands a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dobson lands a head kick!
Palmer needs to keep his hands up - Dobson had a free shot at his head there.
Palmer throws a half hearted mid kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dobson.
Dobson throws out a loose jab but Palmer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Palmer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

It looks like Chris Palmer has been cut.
Dobson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Dobson lands a big head kick that sends Palmer tumbling to the mat! Dobson takes a step backwards and waves Palmer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Palmer blocks a head kick by Dobson.
Dobson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Palmer right on the button. Palmer goes down! Dobson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Dobson gets the win via TKO!
