The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Promise tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rock swivels and escapes.
Issac Promise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Promise has hold of Rock's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rock manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Promise has control of Rock's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rock regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Promise is working to tighten is grip on Rock's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rock has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Promise is really squeezing tight and eventually Rock passes out! Promise breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
