With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Junior Silva!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a crisp jab that stopped Barnes in his tracks.

It looks like John Barnes has been cut.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Barnes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Barnes stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Junior Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A determined Junior Silva didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
