That was a close round but I would say that Luke Daigle will probably get the nod.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Daigle here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Duran pushes Daigle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Duran blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Duran wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Daigle has him pressed against the cage.

Duran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Daigle looks to score with a jab to the body but Duran is just out of range.
Daigle has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Daigle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Duran connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Daigle scrambles back to his feet.

Daigle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Duran sprawling to the canvas! Duran rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Daigle finish him?!

Duran takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
