Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiteru Goto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Goto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Japanese Boy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hunt's choice of entrance music: London Calling. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt tries a low kick but Goto avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Goto. Hunt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Goto misses with a head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Hunt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Goto throws a hook but Hunt avoids it easily.
Goto looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Goto throws a jab when Hunt was well out of range.
Goto feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hunt's calf.

We've been informed that Hunt has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hunt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Goto.
Hunt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hunt throws a leg kick which misses Goto's front leg but catches the back leg as Goto tries to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters circling - Goto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hunt slips a straight right by Goto.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheers as Hunt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Goto doesn't seem phased though.

Goto is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Hunt lands a nice hook to Goto's body. Goto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Hunt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Goto looks for the body kick but Hunt saw that one coming.
Hunt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Hunt misses the target.
Goto gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Goto looks to throw the jab but Hunt is out of range.
Goto avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Goto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunt throws out the jab.

and Hunt counters with a good low kick that Goto was not able to check.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Goto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Goto darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Goto cracks Hunt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A nice leg kick lands there from Goto.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hunt checks the leg kick nicely there.
Goto is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Goto looks to throw the jab but Hunt is out of range.
Goto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hunt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hunt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hunt lands a lovely overhand right.
Hunt misses the shot to the body.
Goto misses with a low kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Goto scores with a four punch combination!

Hunt is rocked!
Goto lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Hunt up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Goto from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Hunt's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
